Information you provide

The Contact & Join form asks for your first name, last name and email address. You may also provide a phone number, message, work email, company, position, whether a sponsor invited you or you purchased personally, and an optional choice to receive Oilfield Tailgate news, event updates and community information.

If you purchase a ticket or sponsorship, submit payment, subscribe to a calendar or contact a sponsor or platform through an external link, that service receives the information you provide to it under its own privacy practices.

How information is used

• Respond to questions and event or sponsorship inquiries.
• Add or update your record in Oilfield Tailgate's Wix Contacts, including professional details and invitation source when you provide them.
• Send email updates when you have selected the optional marketing checkbox or otherwise provided permission.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and its forms.
• Maintain records needed for event, sponsorship, payment and legal purposes.

Service providers and outside links

Website form submissions are sent to Wix Forms and Wix Contacts so Oilfield Tailgate can manage contact records and approved email communication. Hosting, security and communications providers may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages and timestamps to operate and protect their services.

This website also links to services including Eventbrite, PayPal, Google Calendar, Google Maps, sponsor websites, social networks and podcast platforms. Once you follow an outside link, that service's terms and privacy policy apply.

Your choices

The marketing checkbox is optional and is not preselected. You may unsubscribe through the link included in a marketing email or contact Oilfield Tailgate directly to request access, correction or deletion of your contact information. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, recordkeeping, legal obligations or resolving a request.

Retention, security and children

Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Oilfield Tailgate is family-friendly, but this website and its forms are directed to adults. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 without a parent or guardian.
