Energy Learning Series / 01
From the delivery truck to the return ticket. Understand how jars work, prepare better questions, and learn the field habits that keep the crew and jar vendor working from the same plan.
A foundation for the well site
Explore the visual presentation, read the complete manual, watch the narrated lessons, then work through the scenarios. Your reading progress stays in this browser.
This course teaches general principles. The current manufacturer instructions, delivered tool identity, service vendor confirmation and approved well program control actual operation. Tool limits, clamp or latch actions, torque restrictions, pump conditions, timing and reset procedures vary by model. The knowledge check supports learning. Supervised field competency and operating authorization remain separate.
What you will explore
Start with the 101 foundation. Future lessons can examine placement engineering, stuck pipe diagnosis, fishing assembly design, load interpretation and the service shop findings that improve the next job.
Use the worksheets to record the delivered model and current procedure, review the crew plan, document attempts and send the vendor a useful return history.
